ME 941P-ME Information

A pass-through entity treated as a partnership or S corporation for federal tax purposes that transacts business in Maine or realizes Maine-source income and had, during the reporting period, at least one nonresident member (owner) must file Form 941P-ME. The entity is not required to file Form 941P-ME if all entity members were residents of Maine during the entire reporting period. Also, a financial institution organized as a partnership, LLC, or S corporation is not required to fi le Form 941P-ME (see instructions for Form 1120B-ME). An entity that is treated as a disregarded entity for federal tax purposes is also treated as a disregarded entity for Maine tax purposes.
